Staying Put wanted to share the story of a woman that they had helped but it needed to be anonymous. The animation needed to be culturally sensitive and represent the impact of having multiple domestic abusers.
We worked with the charity and the woman to shape her story in a visually compelling way. We presented various visual styles and options within the charities budget that felt authentic. Together we storyboarded and created an animation in an ethical way.
The animation has been nominated for several awards and recently won one at the Charity Film Awards. It has been used by the charity to raise awareness and reach women who might find themselves in a similar situation.
