We produced an anniversary film for Norden Farm Centre for the Arts to celebrate 25 years of community impact. The objective was showcasing the venue's extensive community programs to existing patrons, rather than direct fundraising. The production emphasised authentic storytelling through diverse participant interviews and observational footage of activities – from children's art camps to evening performances. Key messaging focused on the centre's community-led heritage, versatility in programming, and irreplaceable local value. Filmed over one intensive day capturing multiple workshops, performances, and community interactions, we aimed to create a joyful, positive, and optimistic film focusing on bringing people together, providing respite from worries, and creating social connectivity.
Filming took place in summer 2025, at Norden Farm in Maidenhead, capturing a full day of community activity from morning until night. The crew documented the diverse programming the centre has, including a Jane Austen performance, children's art camp, Puffling Percy show, Bhangra Bollyfit Jam, guitar workshops, and the evening Flash performance. We balanced interviews with key stakeholders alongside extensive B-roll footage of the café, workshop activities, audiences, and different spaces in the venue. The observational approach documented genuine interactions across the venue's multiple spaces, showcasing the breadth of Norden Farm's community engagement throughout a typical day.
Positive response from Norden Farm: "So very appreciated – you’ve done a lovely job." -Jane
